Greyhound

A collaboration project with Hunter Roussel about leaving your hometown for the first time and the emotions that can arise along the way. We both are nearing this stage in our lives and wanted to describe our feelings through music. We hope that you too can find some connection through our song Greyhound.

Can There Be Love?

A simple question, but not always the easiest answer. This song will be my first single released on all streaming platforms on February 24th, 2023. It began with just a chorus about heartbreak and then developed into what it is now. I hope you enjoy.

Stratus

for Tenor Saxophone and Electronics

Stratus was composed entirely using Logic. The piece explores the combination of tenor saxophone and various electronic effects. These effects change three times throughout the piece creating various harmonics and delays to make it sound as if multiple saxophones were playing at once. This piece was awarded the Honorable Mention in the undergraduate category for the 2023 Wisconsin Alliance for Composers Student Composition.

Etude No. 1

Etude No. 1 was composed for a chord study assignment in my Introduction to Music Composition class. Only one or two notes change as one chord moves to the next, resulting in a smooth chord progression with some unique harmonies.

Senior Capstone Recital

This was my most extensive project to date and includes 16 songs that I have worked on over the duration of my collegiate career. The entire set is filled with German, French, Italian, English, and Musical Theater pieces finishing with 3 acoustic originals. I am very proud of this project and am thankful for everyone who came to support me.
